Chrysanthemum tea is one of China's most popular Herbal teas. Chrysanthemum Tea improves cloudy vision and gradually reduces liver inflammation. Frequently included in formulas for sinus congestion, fever, complexion problems, and high blood pressure, the flowers are sweet and refreshing! Enjoy it hot or cold.

It may have antivirus and antispirochete qualities, enhance capillary resistance, and it is used in Chinese traditional medicine to help cure high blood pressure, heart colic, coronary heart disease, arteriosclerosis and high cholesterol, relieve congestion, palpitation, short breath, dizziness, migraine headache, cold, flu, etc,. Regular use is believed to " lead to energetic body, better vision and hearing, alert brain and longevity".

Directions:

  • Add 10 - 20 yellow chrysanthemum flowers into teapot.
  • Add 1 - 3 teaspoon of honey or rock sugar.
  • Pour boiling water on to the contents.
  • Allow tea to stand for 5 minutes.
  • Pour tea into cup and allow to cool slightly before drinking.

We recommend adding either rock sugar or honey to enhance the taste of the chrysanthemum tea. This tea is excellent in treating mild sunstroke and easing a sore throat. Since this drink is caffeine free, the Imperial White Chrysanthemum tea would be a perfect summer time drink for kids.
